Casa Condo: 430 sqft

Casa Condo
*Bachelor unit, 430 sqft.
*Client: 18 year old male student
*Budget: $15K

*This small bachelor unit was home to a young, male student, whose parents visited from Ottawa frequently. Instead of renting in student residence his parents thought it would be a much better idea to invest in a small unit downtown.  Because the space was so minimal we had to use a lot of multifunctional, custom furniture to suite all of his needs and keep it cost effective to come within budget.

Look/style:
Sleek, clean and organized with a modern design and a neutral pallet.  Thinking of adding to the re-sale value in the future

Function:
Sleeping for up to 4 people, home office, expanded kitchen and eating space. Extra storage solutions.

A RIECHMAN WALL BED with surrounding cabinets gave maximum storage and floor space. For the kitchen, a CUSTOM ISLAND on castors was made, so it could easily be moved around when the wall bed was pulled down.

The ENTERTAINMENT AND DESK combination had to be custom designed to maximized the functionality and take up the least amount of space. In the CLOUDSOFA BED there is a comfortable double pull-out bed, for when out of town family members were visiting the city.
We also added CUSTOM CLOSET INTERIORS into the front hall closet to help it double as primary storage for his wardrobe.
Other accents such as the light weight glass coffee table, and textured mirror help to make the space feel larger. This tiny bachelor condo was successfully transformed into a multi-functional, downtown Toronto home, the clients were very happy.
